Promenade

Promenade captures a moment within the rhythm of a contemporary square dance.
I was drawn to this scene by the sense of lift in the dancers. There is a feeling of being light on your feet, held within the energy of the room, and part of something larger than any one individual. This piece reflects the experience of being within that flow, where connection is found not only in each other, but in the rhythm that carries everyone together.
